The Charleston Area Anti-Gang Enforcement Task Force is sponsored by the F.B.I. and is a joint effort by members of that agency, the Charleston Police Department, U.S. Attorney's Office and the Kanawha County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.  Members of G.A.A.G.E. identify gang members and investigate crime committed by them.  The task force watches trends and other factors associated with gangs throughout the country.

The Charleston Police Department members who are assigned to this task force are available to provide training in the area of street gangs.  This training is available to the general public and all law enforcement agencies and is LET approved for in-service credit.

Any questions or information regarding gang activity or training in this topic should be directed to Detective Errol Randle at 304-348-6480.
