Captain Perdue joined the department on March 17, 1986.  He is currently in charge of the Investigative Services Bureau.  This bureau includes:

Criminal Investigation Division
Family Services Section
Domestic Violence Section
Crimes Scene Section
Drug Enforcement Unit (MDENT) 

 

Captain White joined the department on August 1, 1979 and is a graduate of WV State University with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.  Capt. White's past assignments have included the Patrol Division where he was a Shift Commander.  White was instrumental in founding the department's K-9 unit and is a K-9 MasterTrainer-instructor.  Capt. White currently is heading the Administrative Services Bureau which includes the following:

Training Division
Grants Division
Community Services Division
Humane Officers
Information Services
Records Division
Warrants Division
Support Services
Property and Evidence Section

Lt. Shannon joined the department on October 24, 1983.  He has served in various capacities throughout the department including the Patrol Division, Special Enforcement Unit, Drug Unit, Housing Unit and the Criminal Investigation Division.  Shannon has also commanded the Bike Unit, Community Services Division and currently commands the SWAT Unit.
